Writing these newsletters should be easy for me because we do so much as a preschool and I have so much material to work with…. but that almost makes it harder! People don’t always have time to read reams of text so for this edition I thought I’d share some photos and captions, and that’s it:

Learning about food from our families’ cultures

Trip to Live Earth Farm in Corralitos every October

Our annual trip SCCAS to give gifts to the animals

Activities in the classroom – some change, some remain the same

Cooking and flower arranging regularly!

Improving our yard together with new plants

Our regular Open Houses bring families and friends into the classroom

So much fun outside and inside our lovely school
Our beloved teachers put so much hard work into facilitating fun art projects, games, field trips and the day to day environment of the classroom. We now have an outdoor classroom to make the most of the Santa Cruz weather and maximize time outside. This is such a wonderful opportunity for the age group we serve. Children can use their imagination, play, do Montessori work at their level and be with their friends outside throughout the day.
We are currently fully enrolled but have some availability for the 2026-2027 school year with start dates of early summer/ August and September. Reach out if you would like to tour or to check in on your spot on the waitlist. Tuition amounts for the 2026-2027 school year in our year-round, full-time program are available on our website under the enrollment tab.
